Pelvic Floor Health Training
It is never too late to get help for leaking, prolapse, pelvic pain, and other pelvic floor related issues.
Many people do not realize that the pelvic floor needs to be rehabbed and given a chance to heal after giving birth. Often, mothers are told at six weeks postpartum that they can return to running and other high-impact exercises.
This may or may not be true depending on not only the physical fitness of the individual, but also the condition of her pelvic floor.
In cases where women have been training their pelvic floors correctly before becoming pregnant, they may be in a position to return to physical exercise as early as six weeks. Our certified trainers at Nicole Thorne Fitness understand this is not be the case every time.
Everybody is unique in their condition and needs to be trained accordingly. Thus for many women who have not been taught how to help their pelvic floors function as it was meant to can cause unnecessary pain and damage to their bodies. As specialized fitness professionals we are aware of the major changes that occur in women’s bodies.
With our expertise and knowledge we will create a workout plan that assists with your pelvic floor recovery, allowing you to return to your exercise of choice safely without setbacks or injuries.
Keep in mind that although leaking when you exercise (and even during regular daily activities) can occur when the pelvic floor has not been addressed, it can be fixed!
